A call to my fellow Saints

In the last days lawlessness will increase and people’s hearts will grow cold. Let’s not forget that Jesus is the answer. No matter the problem, no matter the question, Jesus is always the Truth and the Light and the Way. When we focus on anything other than God’s saving grace and redeeming power, and we start focusing instead on the daily grind and the bad news and the viscous attacks and everything bad———who, I repeat who has our attention?! It’s not Jesus.

What did the enemy come to do? To steal, kill and destroy. What is he doing? He’s distracting Believers, those who truly do know and follow God. Satan is getting our attention focused on him in all the viscous attacks and horror stories that we see every day on the news.

I’m not saying ignore everything, but I’m saying take every thought captive. What will make us closer to God? Berating others, getting involved in the nonsense, etc? Or, calling out to God for Him to heal and deliver us?!

Together, lets call upon Jesus for Him to redeem His people!

I feel that He is coming soon, and with everything that’s going on, who knows… It doesn’t honestly matter if He comes back to gather His people this year or in a hundred more years. The point is, we can’t let our love for Jesus grow cold—even lukewarm.

Revelation 3:15-16 ESV
“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.

How do we keep our hearts on fire for Him?

By continuing to press into Him. To stay in His Word. To pray for our enemies. To pray for the persecuted. To pray for our brethren. To pray for all the Saints. By putting on our spiritual armor on every day and taking up the sword of the Truth, which is the Living Word, and taking captive every thought to the obedience of Jesus Christ. To destroy every speculation that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ESV
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

Saints, I’m pleading with you, lets not lose our focus!

Jesus is the way———not only for us but He is the only way for even our enemies. Jesus is the only way. Without Him, we would be lost and going to an eternal torment in the fiery pit of hell.
But, by the saving grace of Jesus’ shed blood on the Cross, we are forgiven and are given eternal life because we choose to give our lives up for the sake of Christ.

Anyone can be forgiven, if they will only humble themselves and seek His face. It doesn’t matter what they’ve done, just like it doesn’t matter what we did.

Let’s not lose our focus!!!!!

Pray for our enemies, pray for those that persecute us. And pray for our brethren that we stand firm in the Lord when faced with persecution.

This is said in love, and I truly hope that comes across. My heart grieves seeing myself and others that I love dearly falling for the lies of Satan.

Jesus saves, Jesus is the only way, and Jesus is coming back one day—-let’s all be ready!!!
